Family Portrait: The Ogden's

As with any of the drawings I do, each one is new and exciting and evolving!

Here is my first family portrait in the Sketch of Life style.  Normally with a family portrait you get a nice, stiff, everybody matches with a nice background.  Not with my custom portraits!  I like to spice it up and include all the fun things you like to do as a family all in the same picture!  It's such an exciting way to show off your family and brings back so many memories at the same time.

Happy Father's Day!

If you follow us on Facebook,  then you have seen our little promotion for the last month for Father's Day.  And if you don't follow us on Facebook, then hop on over and give us a like so that you can be up to date on all our sales and promotions!

For the Father's Day sample I used my own dad.  He was really the perfect choice because what is more exciting than being in a band, racing Hot Wheel cars, or photography?

While Father's Day has already passed, you can still order a custom portrait for your awesome dad today!  You don't have to show your love for your dad on just one day of the year - these are perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, or even as a 'thinking of you' present!  Contact me today to get yours started!

Meet Kennedy!

Little Kennedy turned 7 this weekend! I was able to make her a Sketch of Life highlighting all the fun experiences she had being 6.  One of the best things about the custom portraits is seeing their face light up with recognition and happiness at seeing their favorite things!

This one was kinda different and I made a 'story path', because I know my kids LOVE following paths with their fingers in their story books.

If you have a birthday coming up and want the perfect gift, order a Sketch of Life today!

Custom Portrait: Riley's Train

If you remember from last year, I got to do a Sketch of Life portrait for little Riley when he turned one.    Well this year, when he turned two, I got to do another portrait of him!  His mom wanted something special to combine his classic love of Mickey Mouse and his new love of trains.  Plus she wanted it a special size to fit into a frame she already had.  Challenge accepted!

It was fun to do a larger piece instead of lots of little portraits, and Riley absolutely loved it!  When he opened it up at his birthday party he had so much fun pointing out all his favorite things - especially himself!

That's the great thing about ordering a Sketch of Life - I work directly with you to ensure you get exactly what you want - sizing, information, and subject matter!  To get yours started contact me today!
